James Wardhaugh

James was born in Edmonton in 1986. Growing up in the Ottawa area he first attended post secondary education at the Haliburton school of the arts for art fundamentals, and then glass. He then attended the craft and design program at Sheridan college where he majored in glass and stayed on one extra year working as a teaching assistant.

James went on to work for several glass studios including Tsunami glassworks, the Jeff Goodman studio, the Living Arts center, as well as many other independent artists. James work can be found in galleries across Canada. James is currently a member of the Ottawa Glassblowing Co-op where he creates his artworks, as well as teaches glassblowing classes.
